As a service to the communities we are very active with special events.  In addition making ambulance units available for stand-by's, we also have an EMS Bike Team to provide patrols during parades, and on the Yough River Trail.  Our service also provides regular monthly blood pressure screenings throughout the community.

Recognizing the fact that EMS has been titled "The Public Health Safety Net", we have been providing flu shots to the "at risk" population for nearly 10 years.  We have been very fortunate to receive financial assistance from the Elizabeth Rotary Club in recent years.  This has significantly helped to defray our costs of providing the valuable service.
