
We are saddened to announce the passing of our board of directors
vice president and former Elizabeth Township Police Chief Charles Tennant.
His passing is a great loss to us as an organization and a friend. We send
our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

ETA-EMS is
an active participant in PA Region 4 EMS Strike Team. The team
is comprised of 13 ambulance services from the western part of PA.
The primary mission of PA ST-1 is the transport of patients during a
disaster event. PA ST-1 was actively involved during
Hurricane’s Rita and Katrina in 2006. In order to operate
effectively, the team must be completely self-sufficient.
Amongst the teams significant cache of equipment are 3 large tents,
which can operate as field hospitals. These units are utilized
as Casualty Collection Points (CCP’s). Each CCP has the
capability of treating 10 patients laying on cots. The CCP’s
can also be utilized to as housing for ST-1 Personnel.
